The next installment of 'My Walk with our Lord' by our resident anonymous poet.
Made to carry the cross on which He will stretch out His hands,
He lifts up the weight and the miseries of the lands.
I did this; I am part of this horrible mess-
Mistakes and omissions; to The Word I transgress.
My hearts pours out with remorse and regret as I admit my blame,
And give thanks that His amazing love is greater than my shame.
I continue this journey with Him walking in gratitude,
Knowing with hearts united, we are not in solitude.
By depending on Him and carrying the crosses life demands,
I strive to live for His Glory and rest in His Hands.

I really love this part, "Knowing with hearts united, we are not in solitude.

Thank you so much for sharing. I think I'm going to add this to my Lenten prayers. =)
