"There I found the answer to my questions."
These are the words of Blessed Pope John Paul II regarding the great spiritual book by
St. Louis de Montfort entitled
Treatise of True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin. BJPII's devotion to our Blessed Mother is
legendary and inspirational and he encouraged us all of us to "contemplate the face of Christ in union with, and at the school of, His Most Holy Mother." In Mary's 'school' we can learn to love and follow Jesus as his disciples did and to have a lasting relationship with Him.
In True Devotion, St. Louis writes beautifully of Mary -

"When Mary has struck her roots in a soul, she produces there marvels of grace"
"Mary has produced, together with the Holy Spirit, the greatest thing which has ever been or ever will be - Jesus, and she will consequently produce the greatest saints that there will be in the end of time.
"When the Holy Spirit has found Mary in a soul, He flies there. He enters there in His fullness; He communicates Himself to that soul abundantly."
"Devotion to Mary does not detract from the saving action of the sacrifice of Jesus upon the cross, but makes that sacrifice a reality by virtue of her motherhood."
We all love Jesus and Mary. But aren't you just a little curious now to learn from St. Louis, as did Blessed Pope John Paul II, about the peace and joy of being truly devoted to Jesus through Mary? Would you be willing to spend about 15 minutes a day, for about 30 days, to experience this devotion?
