Our Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, hear our prayer:

Please weave the women of St. Raphael into a beautiful tapestry of faith and friendship. Let us be woven by your Holy Spirit with our eyes and hearts set upon Christ our Savior. Help us shine with the light of Christ and draw souls to Jesus. We ask this in the name of Jesus, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Amen.

Before summer sweeps you away

Posted by Ginger

When I was a child, I looked forward to summer as if it were an endless Christmas vacation.

I still look forward to summertime - warm weather, lazy days and time spent together as a family.  But I am also aware that it is precious time - and I believe that anything precious could use a good blessing.  So come to our June Eucharistic Healing Service and have your children and family blessed before the summer sweeps you away.

Eucharistic Healing Service
Tuesday, June 3rd
7:30 pm in the Church
with Confession beginning at 7pm

Homily by visiting priest Father Dan Leary, Pastor of St. Andrew Apostle
followed by individual blessings by Father Dan and Deacon Frank Salatto
Topic of Talk: Faith of a Child

As a mother of the squirmiest kids in the world,  I know all too well that some kids just have 'ants in their pants' and to sit still in Church feels like torture.  But this healing night is for all families and all children, so just come and stay as long as you can.  Our ushers will do their best to get parents with children to the front of the line for individual blessings.

Still have questions about what Eucharistic Healing is and whether its right for you and your family?

Stay tuned!  Future blog postings will tell you everything you want to know.  Comments and Testimonies are welcome.  God bless you!
