Seventh Station - Jesus Falls the Second Time

 

Even with help, the cross is more than He can bear,

Falling to the ground again, my Lord knows despair.

Crumpled and broken-down in anguish with His knees on the ground,

I am desperate to take His place with longing that is profound.

By God’s grace He finds the strength and courage to stand,

Because everything is possible with God’s mighty hand.

In my desperation, I cry for help to God in heaven above,

And trust in Him completely, grateful that I live because of His love.

I am sure that even in my struggles I am right where I belong,

Glory to The Father who is always there to help and make me strong.
