Via Crucis - the Fourteenth Station

Fourteenth Station - Jesus Is Laid in a Tomb

I watch as they lay His Sacred Body behind a stone,

For my sake, my redemption, and my sins to atone.

By Christ’s goodness I live in assuredness of His grace,

To do what He couldn’t do- that I am still here in His place.

Here to offer my thoughts, words, and actions in all I do,

Letting Him touch, sow, and live through me making everything new.

He lives in me to be a light to the world and give me hope,

There is nothing with Christ by my side through which I can’t cope.

With all my heart I pray, my God, to be a pleasing servant of Christianity,

To be as Christ to others and a witness to Him in all of humanity.
