Carrying on His back all the oppressions and sins of mankind,
My Jesus falls for the third time for the lost and the blind,
Broken, depleted, beaten down… but not without will,
To carry the cross of redemption up the Calvary hill.
Complete trust in God the Creator and His amazing love,
Restores Jesus’ body, His mission, Holy Spirit, peaceful dove.
Blessed, I receive His love and give thanks for a heart on fire,
That stays close to my Liberator with every desire.
Believing and discerning that my will must be His first,
Renews my purpose for life, feeds my soul, satisfies my thirst.
