Fifteenth Station – Jesus Christ is Resurrected from the Dead

Sinless Savior, my Jesus took the nails for me,

And becomes the Risen Christ who reigns eternally!

By The Father’s plan, He rises on the third day,

Leaving an empty tomb where His body once lay.

Awesome to know my King is with me still as God and Friend,

Lavishing me with mercy and blessings- His gifts to expend.

Gifts of grace that help guide me toward The Way for His delight,

With the Holy Spirit inside and through prayer we unite.

I beg for strength to persevere in truth and to surrender,

And always keep my heart open to God’s touch and His splendor.

By rising Christ proves to me that the mystery of death,
Is enlightened life in the spirit with continuing breath.
That the spirit God created doesn’t burn out like a flame,
But it shines for evermore for those who worship His Name.
That my Creator’s desire is to bring us all to His breast,
Where He will make sense of our wonder and put questions to rest.
That my all-knowing Father’s plan is perfect and good,
And His Son didn’t die because He was misunderstood.
Joy to know a day will come when my heart will no longer ache,
To kiss the scarred hands of Jesus who was ransomed for my sake.

For my Father’s glory, I submit my life to take a new form,
Though it may not always be perfect or feel safe and warm.
But by His light, through His eyes, in His hands, and with His grace,
Through the power of faith, hope, and love, I pray to find my place.
It is my belief that one day I will enter my God’s Kingdom,
And walk through the final open door to lasting freedom.
My spirit longs to unite with The King at my own resurrection,
And bow to my awesome God with endless and grateful affection.
Eternally in heaven, my soul will rejoice and shine brightly,
Singing the praise, Holy, Holy, Holy is the God Almighty!
