Our Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, hear our prayer:

Please weave the women of St. Raphael into a beautiful tapestry of faith and friendship. Let us be woven by your Holy Spirit with our eyes and hearts set upon Christ our Savior. Help us shine with the light of Christ and draw souls to Jesus. We ask this in the name of Jesus, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Amen.

Wounded Hands of Jesus

Behold the sacrifice of the Lamb—

The Son of God, the great I AM.

And hold His Holy Hands that bless and heal,

Pierced for our sins with nails of steel.

The promise of mercy

As we journey towards Easter our hearts begin to be opened to the promise of Mercy.  Pope Francis announced this year to be the extraordinary jubilee Year of Mercy.
But what does that really mean?  What is mercy and how is it practiced?

Behold, the mercy of the cross—
The Blood of Christ poured out to heal us.

Gianna posted this spunky statement to Twitter before she testified to the House Judiciary Committee about the value of every human life and the rights of all people, born and unborn.

Thank you, Gianna, for your courage.  What a great motto for us all to live by!

What is a Blessing?

What is a Blessing?

To bless a person is to say "I see God's goodness in you."  To bless another is to speak and transfer that divine goodness which encourages the other to see it too.  We all need encouragement.

Seventh Words From the Cross

By Anonymous

Heaven hides behind the eclipse of the sun and all the earth feels a tremor,
Tombs open as the veil of the temple is torn down the center.
Holding onto the Sacred Cross of Jesus, I tremble like the ground,
My heart is crying and my head is screaming but not making a sound.
