As we journey towards Easter our hearts begin to be opened to the promise of Mercy. Pope Francis announced this year to be the extraordinary jubilee Year of Mercy.
But what does that really mean? What is mercy and how is it practiced?
If God is more interested in our future than in our past, then how do we do our part to partake in this infinite Mercy?

Come with your questions and your prayers and believe in your heart that by stepping into the things of faith one can learn and really grow beyond what you can imagine. The gift of joy is a true mark of one who has received and lives out His mercy.
Pope Francis said this, "To the average modern person, the most appealing of the fruits of the Spirit...is the fruit of joy. When people see someone else filled with joy, they almost inevitably want to know what it is they are joyful about and often in time will start to want to share in the source of that joy.

But what is the source?"
The true source is the love of Christ and the knowledge that God is love.
God is love and Mercy is His love's greatest attribute.
The best incentive for sharing God's love
and living it out in our daily lives comes from contemplating His love and mercy for us.
So this Friday...come and contemplate the greatest aspect of His love and what it means to receive it so that we can bring it home to share with the ones we love.

...Let us be renewed by Gods's mercy, let us be loved by Jesus, let us enable the power of His love to transform our lives too; and let us become agents of this mercy, channels in which God can water the earth, protect all creation and make justice and peace flourish."
~ Pope Francis
