Our Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, hear our prayer:

Please weave the women of St. Raphael into a beautiful tapestry of faith and friendship. Let us be woven by your Holy Spirit with our eyes and hearts set upon Christ our Savior. Help us shine with the light of Christ and draw souls to Jesus. We ask this in the name of Jesus, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Amen.

Lord, are my colors in line with Yours?

a continuation of Catholic Schools Week

In closing, the three elements that we are asked to reflect on this week are faith, knowledge and service and how they relate to one another as we live in community.  As we live side by side with what God has given us....we must recognize two things:

1. We need Christ.
2. God calls ALL of us to imitate that communion of love that is reflected in the life of the Holy Trinity.

And as we become more aware of this truth of the Trinity and how we live in community with one another and with regard to these three elements (faith, knowledge, and service) we can more easily live in line with that love that Christ asked of us.

So as you walk these hallways this week, take notice of the decorations and make it your prayer...

Lord, does my life please you?
Am I living the life You created me for?
And with respect to the theme of colors this week, we ask

Lord, are my colors in line with Yours?

Lord, help me to recognize the gifts you have given me as from you and to develop a grateful heart. And as I share these gifts, my colors, I give you full permission to direct them as they are cast.
Bless me Lord and the work before me so that it is in line with Your Holy will.

Christ's answer:
"Beloved, let's love one another, because love is of God."
