A postcard from the Youth Rally and Mass for Life at Comcast Center
Our friend, Father Charlie, served as the Master of Ceremonies
and made sure that everything was perfect for the Mass
Sisters of Life from New York greeted all with Mass programs
(look how young and joyful they are!!)

Hundreds and hundreds of people waited in line for confession!
Clever (and somber) Pro-Life t-shirts!
Brothers from the Dominican House of Studies served at the Mass
(very sharp Dominican habit!)

One of the musicians at the Mass, Jackie Francois,
sang her beautiful song, Your Kingdom is Glorious.
Father David Wells gave the homily and reminded us that the Holy Rosary is our best tool against the spiritual warfare we are undergoing in our culture today. Father told the wonderful story of his own niece who was adopted by his brother and sister-in-law from a single mother who courageously defied an abusive boyfriend who wanted her to have an abortion. Father encouraged the youth to be heroic in their life choices - to be confident and strong in choosing to live chastely for Christ.
In the closing blessing, the Principal Celebrant, Cardinal DiNardo, Archbishop of Galveston-Houston, told the youth that a 'smiling countenance' was the best way today to win hearts and minds. His Eminence exhorted them to 'shine' with the light of Christ for all to see!
So you, too, go ahead and shine!
