Our Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, hear our prayer:

Please weave the women of St. Raphael into a beautiful tapestry of faith and friendship. Let us be woven by your Holy Spirit with our eyes and hearts set upon Christ our Savior. Help us shine with the light of Christ and draw souls to Jesus. We ask this in the name of Jesus, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Amen.

Peace in the Rosary

Dear Women of St. Raphael,

I hope you will join in celebrating the month

of The Holy Rosary this October.
Here is a poem to express the blessings
I hold dear from this beautiful prayer….
God bless you and yours!

Anonymously from a very gracious and humble
 sister in Christ

With the Sign of the Cross and “I believe…”,
I begin The Rosary and fall to my knees.
Opening my heart to mysterious of old,
With every bead, sacred wonders are told.
Closing my eyes, my Lord’s life comes into view,
Yet each time, with each prayer, I find something new.

The Joyful mysteries, when Jesus is young,
Make me long for the Holy Family and divine Son.
Humility, charity, poverty it shares,
Joy in finding Jesus, above all other cares.
Obedience, and Mary’s fullness of grace,
It is so much more than my mind can embrace.

The Sorrowful mysterious are said with deep pain,
As my spotless Savior, Lamb of God, is slain.
For a desire for purity, I am faithful,
For fruits of courage
and patience, I am grateful.
I pray through the sadness with gratitude and praise,
The greatness of His mercy and love does amaze.

The Glorious mysterious bring consolation,
A faithful, hopeful, total consecration...
To Jesus, to Mary, to the Spirit, I dream,
Of the risen Christ and crowning of Our Queen.
Visions of heaven, my eternal home,
My desperate soul awaits its return.

The Luminous mysterious fill me with awe,
Apostles testify, these miracles they saw!
Through baptism renewed by the Spirit inside,
In Jesus, through Mary, I trust and abide.
To repentance and trust, I commit each day,
In striving for holiness,  I find my way.

As the mysteries unfold, we pray together,
Immaculate Mary, my most holy Mother.

In adoration of Our Lord, our hearts unite,
Teaching me the truth, and how to spread the light.
She is my Mother of mercy, a peaceful dove,
Who leads me to Jesus, my friend, my God, my love.

-- In Christ!
