Our Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, hear our prayer:

Please weave the women of St. Raphael into a beautiful tapestry of faith and friendship. Let us be woven by your Holy Spirit with our eyes and hearts set upon Christ our Savior. Help us shine with the light of Christ and draw souls to Jesus. We ask this in the name of Jesus, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Amen.

May Crowning

Thanks to our Sodality Prefect, Lee DePont, there was a beautiful Crowning of Our Blessed Mother.

Our Sodalist, Luisa Duarte, made the lovely crown.


Mary is presented with a crown of flowers made by Luisa
 
First Communicants brought up the gifts at Mass and we processed to the courtyard where Mary was crowned surrounded by her precious communicants.
 
Mary is honored in prayer and song
 
What a glorious day! Thank you to all who participated.

    This is so beautiful - Sodality passing on the tradition of the May Crowning.

    I recall doing this as a girl every May - the month of Mary and all her flowers.
