“What do you Catholics believe about God?”
“Why do you Catholics worship the way you do?”
“What difference does Church make; I can find God just as well on my own.”
“Why can’t you Catholics accept that all morality is relative?”
How would you answer these questions if a friend, coworker, or family member asked?
How enthusiastic would you be when answering?
“Living Catholic: Foundations for Evangelization” is a six-session learning experience for Catholic leaders, staff, volunteers and parishioners that draws participants closer to Jesus Christ, teaches the basic truths of the faith in order “…to bring about… such an enthusiasm for their faith that, in living their faith in Jesus, they freely share it with others.” -USCCB, Go and Make Disciples
With a focus on deepening one’s relationship with Jesus Christ in the context of prayer and learning, participants will grow in a common vision of what it means to live as a Catholic today, what Catholics believe, and how to be a joyful part of the New Evangelization.
As our archbishop, Cardinal Donald Wuerl has said, “We are witnesses. In the proclamation of the message of redemption, we have the words of everlasting life. We are a people alive in the Holy Spirit and we must be motivated by our eagerness to share that extraordinary gift with the next generation.”
Come and see what’s happening! All are welcome.
Attend all or as many days as you can.
